The Swiss Society for Infectious Diseases (SSI) works to prevent, diagnose, and treat infectious diseases across Switzerland. Our mission is to improve patient care, advance research, and provide high-quality education in infectiology. Doctors, researchers, and public health professionals are encouraged to work together to address the growing challenges posed by infectious diseases.
Infectious diseases continue to pose significant challenges worldwide and in Switzerland. Addressing them requires scientific expertise, interdisciplinary cooperation, and continuous knowledge exchange. The SSI provides a central platform that connects clinicians, researchers, laboratories, and public health professionals, fostering collaboration and supporting professional development at all stages of a medical career.
